As global smartphone brand OnePlus gears up to launch the OnePlus 11 series in the first half of 2023, a new report suggests that the lower-end variant in the lineup, the OnePlus 11R, will bring back the Alert Slider. To recall, the OnePlus 10R and OnePlus 10T did not come with the iconic Alert Slider. What’s more interesting is that the OnePlus 11R could be the first phone from the brand to be equipped with an infrared (IR) Blaster.

Not just that, the image also suggests some other specifications and features of the device. Display

Apart from the debut of the IR blaster and the return of the Alert Slider on the OnePlus 11R, the upcoming phone is expected to feature an FHD+ AMOLED display and a 120Hz refresh rate. As per the report, the display will also come with HDR10+ support. The smartphone’s screen could be curved and have a hole in the middle for the selfie camera, and it will likely feature an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Camera

The leaked live image of the OnePlus 11R shows that it will have a triple camera and an LED flash on the back. It also shows that the OnePlus 11R will have a similar camera module as the OnePlus 10 Pro and OnePlus 10T. The triple rear camera setup will likely consist of a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor primary sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP shooter. The front camera will have 16MP for selfies and video calls.
