After teasers, the OnePlus 13s India launch date has been officially confirmed. The handset will be available via Amazon, much like other OnePlus phones. OnePlus 13s will be a compact flagship phone along the likes of the Xiaomi 15 and iPhone 15. It is widely expected to be a rebrand of the OnePlus 13T that debuted in China back in April. The OnePlus 13s is expected to be priced below the OnePlus 13 and will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip for performance-heavy users.
OnePlus 13s India launch date details
- OnePlus 13s will launch in India on June 5th at 12 pm IST.
- The teaser image shared by the brand shows the phone in Black Velvet, Pink Satin, and Green Silk colour shades.
- The phone will feature the new Plus Key button, replacing the good old Alert Slider. The button is expected to work the way the Action Key does on the iPhone 16 i.e. customise it to perform a specific action, like silent calls, enable torch, and so on.
- OnePlus promises a lifetime display warranty for the OnePlus 13s against the green line issue that has affected past OnePlus models.
- As said earlier, the OnePlus 13s will be sold via Amazon and the OnePlus website.
OnePlus 13s: what’s on offer?
- The OnePlus 13s will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, similar to the flagship OnePlus 13. This means you can expect high-end, smooth, and lag-free performance.
- It is confirmed to sport a 6.32-inch compact display. This is a compact display compared to the typical 6.7-inch screens you see in the market today.
- There’s also the independent G1 Wi-Fi chipset and 5.5G network support.
- While the battery size is not mentioned, OnePlus claims it will offer “the best battery life ever on a compact phone.” For context, the OnePlus 13T packs a 6,260mAh battery. This is a pretty big battery to see in a compact phone.
The teaser image confirms the OnePlus 13s will feature a completely different design than the OnePlus 13/13R. The phone features a square module on the back panel to house the dual-camera sensors and an LED flash. It gets a boxy frame with rounded edges, with the volume rocker and power button present on the right edge. The new Plus Key is placed on the left spine.
While the OnePlus 13s price in India is under wraps, for the moment, it could be placed below the OnePlus 13, which was launched at Rs 69,999 for the base variant. We expect a price tag of around Rs 50,000 to Rs 60,000.
