OnePlus has officially confirmed the launch date of the OnePlus 13T in China. The brand has been teasing the upcoming offering for the last few days. It will be the third device in the OnePlus 13 series. Besides revealing the launch date, OnePlus has also confirmed the design and colour options of the OnePlus 13T. So, we have learned it will be a compact smartphone.
OnePlus 13T launch details, design confirmed
- The OnePlus 13T is set to be unveiled in China on April 24th at 2:30 PM (CST).
- The teaser poster shared by the company reveals the upcoming device with a very compact form factor. It could probably offer a one-handed usage experience.
- The phone features a flat frame with volume rocker and power buttons on the right side.
- The bottom of the device has a speaker grille, a USB-C port, and a SIM tray.
- The OnePlus 13T has a squarish camera island that appears to be slightly protruding on the back. It houses two vertically stacked sensors in a pill-shaped cutout. These are expected to be a 50MP main camera and a 50MP 2x telephoto lens.
- The smartphone will be available in Morning Mist Grey, Heart Beating Pink, and Cloud Ink Black colours.
- In a Weibo post (via), OnePlus China Head Louis Jie confirmed that the upcoming offering will come with a 6.32-inch flat screen.
OnePlus 13T: what we know so far
- The OnePlus 13T is teased to replace the iconic alert slider with a new Quick Key with customisable functions.
- The phone is also confirmed to be backed by a battery capacity larger than 6,000mAh and supports 80W fast charging.
- The device is rumoured to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC coupled with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. This configuration scored 3,006,913 points in AnTuTu‘s benchmark test.
The OnePlus 13T’s global launch remains unknown at the moment.
