“The OnePlus 5 8GB variant is back in stock on both Amazon India and the OnePlus Store”
The OnePlus 5 was recently launched in India, and after the first sale on June 22nd, the phone went on open sale on the OnePlus Store and Amazon India on June 27th. Soon after the release, the higher-end 8GB RAM variant of the OnePlus 5 (review) went out of stock on both the e-commerce portals.
91mobiles reached out to OnePlus regarding the availability of the 8GB model. The company has informed us that the 8GB model is back in stock on Amazon India starting today, but it will be available in limited quantities until July 21st. We checked the OnePlus Store, and the model is available there as well.
For the uninitiated, the OnePlus 5’s 6GB RAM model has been priced at Rs 32,999, while the 8GB variant is being offered for Rs 37,999. The phone features a 5.5-inch FHD display, 64GB and 128GB storage variants, a Snapdragon 835 SoC, a 16MP + 20MP dual rear cameras, a 16MP selfie camera, VoLTE, a fingerprint sensor and a 3,300mAh battery with Dash Charging.
At the moment, OnePlus appears to have limited inventory of the 8GB RAM variant, but the company has stated that it will be available in India intermittently, as and when stocks come in. Stay tuned to 91mobiles for updates on the next restock.
