“The upcoming OnePlus 5 will feature a Snapdragon 835 SoC and dual cameras”
The OnePlus 5 has been fodder to tons of speculations and rumours online. Now, a new image has turned up on Chinese social network Weibo, which confirms that the device will flaunt a full HD display. Pete Lau, OnePlus CEO, shared a screenshot of Hydrogen OS running on the OnePlus 5 and the EXIF data of the image revealed the resolution. Therefore, we can expect the upcoming flagship killer to retain the 5.5-inch 1080p display from its predecessor.
In the past, the Chinese handset maker has already confirmed that the smartphone will flaunt a Snapdragon 835 SoC. The flagship is expected to boast dual cameras, a front-facing fingerprint scanner, up to 8GB of RAM and a 3,600mAh battery with Dash Charging.
It is a given that the phone will run Oxygen OS based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. If the rumour mill is to be believed, the handset will be launched on June 20th.
