“Here’s a look at the latest version of the OnePlus 6 from all angles”
OnePlus, as a brand, has always been the one to stick to the basics and offer smartphones with the best spec sheets at attractive prices. But with the launch of the OnePlus 5T (review), the brand also started focusing on limited-edition variants. Along with the Star Wars edition, the company also introduced the Lava Red variant (in pictures) to mark its four-year anniversary. That seems to be continuing this year as well. OnePlus let go of its metallic build to embrace the glass-sandwich design with the OnePlus 6 (review). The smartphone was launched in Midnight Black, Mirror Black, Limited Edition Silk White (in pictures) and Marvels Avengers Edition (first impressions). Now, the brand has announced the OnePlus 6 Red Edition, which comes as the second from the brand in this colour after the red 5T.
The OnePlus 6 Red Edition is as glossy as the Midnight Black edition, albeit with silver logo and trimming around the camera module. The ‘amber-like’ effect can be seen when the light hits the back panel at an angle. However, words can’t do justice to how gorgeous the OnePlus 6 Red Edition looks and we are afraid that even pictures fail to do so. However, we have tried to curate the picture gallery below to give you an idea of how the smartphone looks from all angles.
As for the spec sheet, the OnePlus 6 Red Edition comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Otherwise, the spec sheet remains the same as other variants with a 6.28-inch FHD+ Optic AMOLED display that comes with a notch up top. The phone draws power from the Snapdragon 845 chipset and is fuelled by a 3,300mAh battery with Dash Charge support. In the camera department, the phone offers 16MP + 20MP dual rear cameras, and a 16MP selfie shooter. The OnePlus 6 Red Edition will set you back by Rs 39,999 and is slated to go on sale starting July 16th.
