The mass-favourite smartphone maker, OnePlus recently launched its latest flagship – OnePlus 6T (review). In yet another step in this direction, OnePlus has now released the Kernel Sources of the latest launch on Github.
OnePlus 6T Kernel Sources on Github
In a forum post on the official OnePlus Blog, the brand has announced that the latest kernel source for OnePlus 6T are not live on the Github. The brand reminisces that it has been making efforts to release kernel sources to the developers community ever since the OnePlus 3 came out. OnePlus is probably the only brand which encourages its users to unlock the bootloader, root or mod the smartphone to get the best out of their smartphones. And to this extent, unlike other brands, the OnePlus warranty stays intact even after you have rooted your device. This is a huge plus point for power users, who like to tinker and customise smartphones.
