OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition is set to launch in the UK today, followed by a launch event in Mumbai tomorrow. Recently, we got a look at the key specifications of OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition as well as design changes it will introduce. But now, hours ahead of the launch, the OnePlus 6T price for the McLaren Edition has leaked online, suggesting the upcoming model will be the most expensive handset by the company by a wide margin.

The OnePlus 6T price for the McLaren Edition model will be €699 (roughly Rs 57,000) in most countries in the European market, according to noted tipster Ishan Agarwal. The tweet goes on to say that the price of the handset may be €709 (approximately Rs 58,000) in some European markets. These prices make the handset the most expensive OnePlus smartphone by far. That’s a hefty EUR 70 more than what the OnePlus 6T 8GB + 256GB costs in Europe.

However, it should be noted that in terms of specifications, the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition will offer a few upgrades over the current top-end model in the series. The limited edition handset will reportedly come with 10GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. It is also said to have 30W fast-charging support that is claimed to deliver a day’s power in 20 minutes. In terms of design, leaked images show the handset will have orange accents on the sides and the bottom on the rear panel and a textured pattern in the middle. There will also be the McLaren branding on the back panel, leaked images show. OnePlus had officially revealed that this limited edition smartphone will have the tagline ‘Salute to Speed’.
The London launch event today is scheduled for 9:30am GMT, which translates to 3pm IST. For the OnePlus 6T price in India for the McLaren Edition model, we will have to wait for the Mumbai launch tomorrow. As for the key specifications, apart from what’s mentioned above, we can expect it to be identical to the standard version of the smartphone, with features such as 6.41-inch display, full-HD+ display, Snapdragon 845 SoC, 3,700mAh battery, dual rear cameras, 16-megapixel selfie camera, and USB Type-C port.
