The OnePlus 6T smartphone launch is still almost a fortnight away. However, before that, the a new report claims to have leaked the OnePlus 6T price in India and variants, along with the colour options. These leaked prices are in line with expectations, but there are a few surprises in store, including one storage option being phased out completely.
OnePlus 6T price in India
As per a new MySmartPrice report, the OnePlus 6T price in India will start at Rs 37,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, which is Rs 3,000 more than its predecessor’s 6GB RAM lone option. Furthermore, the handset’s 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB options are tipped to be priced at Rs 40,999 and Rs 44,999 respectively. This pegs the prices just Rs 1,000 higher than the corresponding variants of the OnePlus 6.
A couple of details to note here are that the 64GB variant that has been around since the original OnePlus One is finally being phased out, and that the OnePlus 6T will be the most expensive device by the company ever.
Apart from this, OnePlus 6T will come in two shades of Midnight Black and Mirror Black, according to the report. The Mirror Black finish is said to be available in the 6GB + 128GB as well as 8GB + 128GB variants, while the Midnight Black colour will reportedly be reserved for the 8GB +128GB and 8GB + 256GB options.
The handset will be available for sale exclusively on Amazon.in once it’s launched in the country on October 30th. You can pre-book the device from the e-commerce website and own the OnePlus Type-C Bullets earphones for free.

The handset will come with a Super AMOLED display with a tiny notch up top to house the selfie camera. The screen is said to be bigger than the OnePlus 6 and will sport an in-display fingerprint sensor. Moreover, this will be the first OnePlus offering that will miss out on the 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone is expected to be driven by Qualcomm’s mighty Snapdragon 845 SoC, and for photography, it’s likely to come with the same hardware as its sibling.
On the software front, the OnePlus 6T is reported to boot the latest Android 9 Pie-based OxygenOS. A 3,700mAh battery with dash charging support is likely to fuel the handset. The pre-orders page for the smartphone on Amazon India hints at a November 2nd or 3rd release date in the country.
