“The OnePlus 7 is expected come with Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 855 SoC ticking at its core, dual rear cameras, and warp fast charging”
Amidst all OnePlus 7 leaks and speculations, OnePlus has dropped the teaser of its next-gen smartphone. The OnePlus 7 will come as a successor to OnePlus 6T and is expected to accompany by the rumoured OnePlus 7 Pro, which is said to have a pop-up selfie camera. CEO Pete Lau has posted a tweet with a GIF that says, “Fast and Smooth.” Though the tweet does not name the OnePlus 7 smartphone, its top and right edges form the numeral ‘7’, a clear hint at what we should expect. We can also see the curved display that is rumoured for the Pro model; the three dots are likely a nod to the triple rear cameras rumoured for the same handset.

Going by the previous leaks and rumours, the OnePlus 7 will look a lot like its predecessor the 6T, while the ‘Pro’ variant will have triple rear cameras and a truly bezel-less display. The latest update is that the OnePlus 7 Pro will reportedly come with 6.64-inch Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, higher than the current 60Hz rate on most smartphones in the market today.
Separately, a British online retailer has a put up images of a bunch of cases for the unannounced device on its website. The cases corroborate the rumoured OnePlus 7 Pro design and also reveal the handset in a couple of gradient colours: green-and-black and purple-and-black. Coming to the specifications, both OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro will likely rock Qualcomm’s high-end Snapdragon 855 octa-core chipset that is forged using the latest 7nm process. One of the models is also expected to come with 5G cellular connectivity, as confirmed by the company last year.
