OnePlus 7T complete specifications leaked ahead of purported September 26th launch

OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro smartphones have been part of leaks and rumours for quite some time. We’ve even come across alleged live images and high-resolution renders of the flagships, clueing us in on the design. The OnePlus 7T series will reportedly to go official in India on September 26th and globally on October 10th. Now, reiterating the same, noted tipster Ishan Agarwal claims the aforementioned launch date to be legit and also revealed key specifications of the standard OnePlus 7T. According to him, the OnePlus 7T will have a 6.55-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display with 90hz refresh rate and a smaller notch, which should be a significant upgrade over the OnePlus 7.

Furthermore, the OnePlus 7T has been tipped to be powered by the Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC, aided by 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, which will likely not be user expandable. The handset is expected to run on Android 9.0 Pie with OxygenOS skin on top. In terms of optics, the OnePlus 7T is said to pack triple rear cameras in a circular ring, consisting of a 48MP primary sensor, a 16MP secondary shooter and a 12MP third sensor, accompanied by an LED flash. It is said to support 960fps video recording, and feature wide-angle video and Nightscape modes. At the front, the smartphone has been tipped to feature a 16MP sensor for selfies and video chats.

A 3,800mAh battery with support for fast charging is said to fuel the phone and the handset will be available in Frosted Silver and Haze Blue colour options, as per the tweet. It could have an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, alongside face unlock. The OnePlus 7T would likely not have a 3.5mm audio jack. The company will seemingly embrace the waterdrop notch design again, which looks quite dated in our opinion. We should know more details in the days to come.
