Despite the existence of rubber gaskets, OnePlus doesn’t talk anything about water resistance. Furthermore, the OnePlus 7T comes with dual speakers for stereo audio, instead of relying on the earpiece to give output as the second channel. The recent durability test of OnePlus 7T revealed that while it survives the scratch and flame tests to the display, it fails to pass the bend test. The smartphone’s glass back started cracking with bare minimum force at the initial level. This reveals that OnePlus 7T is fragile and can’t withstand rough drops given the rear panel is made entirely of glass. The YouTuber believes that it could be a result of the circular camera module since the placement of it means there would be a slight pressure on the rear panel.
