OnePlus 8 finally goes on open sale in India via Amazon and OnePlus’ official website. This means that the phone will be available for purchase 24/7. Previously, the OnePlus 8 was only available through flash sales. The latest OnePlus 8 flagships were initially expected to go on open sale from May 29th, but it got postponed owing to an unexpected production delay. Now, it looks like the company has enough stock of the vanilla OnePlus 8 in all colour variants and configurations. However, the OnePlus 8 Pro will still be available via flash sales only.

OnePlus 8 price in India is Rs 41,999 for the base 6GB + 128GB, Rs 44,99 for the 8GB + 128GB variant and Rs 49,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model. It will be available in Glacial Green, Onyx Black and Interstellar Glow (12GB + 256GB) colours.

OnePlus 8 sports a 6.55-inch full HD+ Fluid AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate, Corning Gorilla Glass and HDR10+. It is powered by the Snapdragon 865 5G SoC coupled with Adreno 650 GPU, up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB non-expandable storage. The handset boots Android 10 OS with OxygenOS 10 custom skin on top and there is an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB Type-C port.
In terms of optics, OnePlus 8 ships with triple camera setup at the back with a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor, a 2MP macro sensor and a 16MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. On the front, it has a 16MP snapper for selfies and video chats. The phone houses a 4,300mAh battery and supports 30W fast-charging.
