“OnePlus 8 Pro specifications will also include dual-mode 5G support, a feature that may also be seen on its smaller sibling”
OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro are the company’s upcoming premium flagships and have been in the news for quite some time. Both the flagships are expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC and feature punch-hole displays. Now, noted tipster Ishan Agarwal has exclusively informed 91mobiles that the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro would come with 120Hz refresh rate, the same solution that was announced back in January. On top of this, the OnePlus 8 Pro will have dual-mode 5G support and 30W wireless charging – it should be noted that both these features may also be present on the vanilla OnePlus 8, but we do not have confirmation of the same at the moment. Separately, we have also exclusively reported the OnePlus 8 Lite price, specifications, and launch timeline.
OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro specifications
Talking about the specifications, OnePlus 8 is said to flaunt a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint sensor for security and punch-hole cutout. The phone is tipped to arrive in three variants: 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB UFS 3.0 storage. In terms of optics, the OnePlus 8 is said to come with triple rear cameras consisting of a 48MP primary sensor, a 16MP secondary unit and a 2MP unit. A 4,000mAh battery with 30T Warp charge is tipped to fuel the phone.
As for the OnePlus 8 Pro, it could have a slightly bigger 6.65-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and be powered by the Snapdragon 865 SoC with Adreno 650 GPU. It will have quad cameras at the back with an additional ToF sensor. A 4,500 mAh battery with 10V 5A Super Warp fast charging support fuels the handset. Both the phones are likely to boot Android 10 OS and have glass body design. Since the launch is still a few weeks away, we should know more information going forward.
