“OnePlus 8 Pro key specifications include a 120Hz Fluid AMOLED display, Snapdragon 865 SoC, LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 3.0 storage”
OnePlus 8 Pro will launch in a new Ultramarine Blue colour option, as revealed in some fresh renders by Winfuture.de. This is the same website that posted official-looking renders of the OnePlus 8 a few days ago where we learned that the phone will come in a new Glow colour finish. The OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro are set to launch on April 14th through an online event. The company has already confirmed the phones would come with the mighty Snapdragon 865 SoC and support 5G connectivity. In addition to the Ultramarine Blue colour, the OnePlus 8 Pro will also be offered in Onyx Black and Glacial Green colour options.
OnePlus 8 Pro renders
The OnePlus 8 Pro will be available in a new Ultramarine Blue colour, which is a deep blue shade that has not been seen on a OnePlus phone before. It certainly looks fresh and different from regular black, blue and white shades that we are used to seeing. These colours will likely be in a frosted matt-like finish rather than glossy. OnePlus will also be offering more traditional colours like the classic Onyx Black as well as a Glacial Green shade.
The renders show the phone will have an edge-to-edge display with slightly curved edges. Thanks to the punch-hole design, the phone should offer an impressive screen-to-body ratio for media and gaming consumption. The bottom spine houses the USB Type-C connector, speaker grills and primary microphone. The power button and alert slider are on the right side, while the volume rocker is on the left. There are quad-cameras at the back — three of them are arranged vertically, while the fourth sensor is placed parallelly along with dual-LED flash and laser autofocus. OnePlus’s new logo can be seen below the camera module at the back. The regular OnePlus 8 looks similar to the Pro model, but will only offer a triple rear camera setup.
OnePlus 8 Pro specifications
OnePlus 8 Pro is tipped to sport a 6.78-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC coupled with 5G connectivity, either 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.0 internal storage that isn’t expandable. This will likely be the first OnePlus phone to come with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. It will also be the company’s first to support wireless charging. The OnePlus 8 Pro will feature quad cameras at the back with a couple of 48MP sensors, an 8MP snapper and a 5MP sensor. On the front, it is tipped to ship with a 16MP snapper for selfies and video chats. The handset is said to house a 4,510 mAh battery and support 30W Super Warp 30T wired fast charging, 30W fast wireless charging and 3W reverse wireless charging support.
