- OnePlus 8T specifications have leaked in a new report
- The phone will reportedly launch later this month or in the first week of October
- OnePlus 8T is said to come with a 120Hz AMOLED display and 48MP quad cameras
A leaked render from earlier this week gave us our first look at OnePlus 8T, which is expected to be the upcoming flagship from OnePlus. A new report has now revealed key OnePlus 8T specifications as well as the launch timeline. The device, which is codenamed Kebab, will sport OnePlus 8 Pro-like 120Hz AMOLED display with a punch-hole cutout, as per a report by Android Central. Citing internal sources, the report adds that the OnePlus 8T will launch later this month or in the first week of October.
In addition to a 120Hz AMOLED display, the OnePlus 8T is said to come with an improved camera system. The smartphone will reportedly get a quad-camera setup, which could be headlined by a new 48MP sensor instead of the same 48MP sensor on the OnePlus 8. The camera system on the OnePlus 8T is also said to include a 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 5MP macro, and 2MP portrait lens for bokeh shots. The cameras could be backed by 8K video recording support, as spotted on the new OnePlus camera application teardown.

Software-wise, the OnePlus 8T is tipped to run on the latest OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11. Other specs may include the newer Snapdragon 865+ SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage onboard. There is no word on whether OnePlus 8T will get wireless charging support and IP rating like the OnePlus 8 Pro. While OnePlus is yet to officially announce the launch date, the report adds that the OnePlus 8T could be unveiled by the end of this month or in the first week of October. The ultra-premium flagship OnePlus 8T Pro may launch at a later date.
