OnePlus 9 camera specifications have leaked (once again) months ahead of the upcoming premium smartphone’s rumoured launch. The new leak reiterates that the OnePlus 9 specifications will include a triple camera setup but goes a step further by revealing the resolution for each of the three sensors on the phone’s back panel. This leak comes just days after a report claimed that the smartphone will feature Leica-branded cameras on the back and weeks after 91mobiles exclusively released a live image showing the camera module with two large sensors and a third smaller lens in a rectangular module. The OnePlus 9 launch is likely to happen in mid-March 2021, with the event also expected to see the 9 Pro and 9 SE. As for the OnePlus 9 specifications, it may include 120Hz screen 4,5000mAh battery, and Snapdragon 888 SoC, among other things. The phone, per leaked renders, will flaunt a punch-hole design.

According to a report by Slashleaks, the OnePlus 9 will be headlined by a 50MP primary wide-angle sensor (f/1.79), which is up from 48MP on its predecessor OnePlus 8/ 8T. The sensor will reportedly be marketed as ‘UltraVision’ and will be coupled with a 20MP Cine ultra-wide sensor (f/1.8) and a 12MP telephoto sensor with a large f/3.4 aperture and OIS. This is against the previous reports, which revealed OnePlus 9 with a 48MP triple camera setup. There has been no confirmation from the company yet regarding the OnePlus 9 cameras, so take the news with a pinch of salt.

OnePlus 9 specifications
The OnePlus 9 5G will reportedly sport a 6.55-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR content. The display is expected to offer an FHD+ (1,080 x 2,400p) resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone will most likely be powered by a new Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset paired with 8GB/ 12GB RAM and up to 256GBGB internal storage, with no support for storage expandability via a microSD card. The device may run on Android 11-based OxygenOS out of the box to take care of the software side of things and pack a 4,500mAh battery.
The OnePlus 9 isn’t said to be IP68 water and dust resistance certified. That feature is expected to be exclusive to its elder sibling OnePlus 9 Pro. The Pro will also have a slightly taller form factor and higher screen resolution. The phone may support wireless charging as well and sport a quad-camera setup at the back instead of triple cameras.
In addition to this, there is OnePlus 9E also in the works. The handset will reportedly be a mid-range offering with Snapdragon Snapdragon 7XX series chipset ticking at its core. That’s all we know so far!
