OnePlus is reportedly working on launching its OnePlus Ace 2 soon in the Chinese market. The device will most likely be launched in India (and in several other regions) as the OnePlus 11R 5G. Last week, we exclusively revealed the OnePlus 11R 5G moniker, as we spotted the device on the company’s official website and today, its Chinese counterpart, the OnePlus Ace 2 has also been listed on the website. Let’s take a look.
OnePlus Ace 2 spotted on the company’s website
As seen in the picture above, the OnePlus Ace 2 has been listed on the company’s website, thereby suggesting that the launch of the device must not be too far away from now. As for those wanting to buy the OnePlus Ace 2 in India, the device will launch in the country, albeit with a different name (OnePlus 11R 5G). While we certainly hope that the name is the only thing that the brand changes, there’s no telling whether both devices will feature identical specifications.
OnePlus Ace 2/OnePlus 11R 5G specifications (expected)
Provided both devices are the same, we can expect the OnePlus Ace 2 to feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is expected to house a 16MP selfie camera underneath a punch-hole. At the back, the device will likely sport a 50MP + 12MP + 2MP triple rear camera setup. Powering the device will reportedly be a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, which is said to be coupled with up to 16GB RAM and up to 512GB storage.
In terms of battery, the OnePlus Ace 2 is tipped to come with a 5,000mAh battery, which will have support for up to 100W fast charging over a USB Type-C charging port, as revealed by the 3C listing the device was spotted on recently. Speaking of the OS, the OnePlus Ace 2 is tipped to boot the latest Android 13-based ColorOS 13.1 skin out of the box. Lastly, the OnePlus Ace 2 is said to feature an Alert Slider and an IR Blaster.
