OnePlus Ace Racing Edition launch date confirmed

As seen in the images above, this is what the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition will look like. The device will launch in Grey and Blue colour options and will be announced on May 17th in China. It remains to be seen as to when the brand will make the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition available in the remaining parts of the world. That said, we should expect the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition to carry a different moniker if and when it launches outside of China.

As for the design, the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition will retain a 3.5mm headphone jack, but will ditch the brand’s vintage alert slider. The device will make room for a left-aligned punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The power button, which will double as a fingerprint scanner, will be located on the right side of the device, while the volume up and down buttons will be on the right side.

OnePlus Ace Racing Edition specifications (expected)

The OnePlus Ace Racing Edition is expected to feature a 6.59-inch FHD+ IPS LCD panel with a high refresh rate. Under the hood, the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition will come powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max chipset, which will be coupled with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB onboard memory.

In terms of optics, the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition will likely feature a triple rear camera setup, including a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera, and a 2MP tertiary camera (macro/depth camera). At the front, the device is said to sport a 16MP selfie shooter. Coming to the battery of the device, the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition is tipped to come with a 4,890mAh rated battery capacity with 65W fast charging support.
