Here’s a quick look at the wearable’s India price, specifications, and whether you should buy it.
OnePlus Band price in India
The OnePlus Band price in India is set at Rs 2,499, which puts it in a similar category as the Mi Band 5. The fitness band from OnePlus is available starting today from Amazon, Flipkart, and OnePlus’ official website. The OnePlus Band comes with traditional black straps, but you can purchase the dual-colour bands separately at Rs 399 through OnePlus.in.
OnePlus Band features
The OnePlus Band features a 1.1-inch AMOLED touchscreen display. The tracker is 5ATM and IP68 rated for dust and water resistance. Key features include SpO2 monitoring, 3-axis accelerometer and gyroscope, optical heart rate sensor, and more. The OnePlus Band supports a variety of exercise modes, including Outdoor Run, Indoor Run, Fat Burn Run, Outdoor Walk, Outdoor Cycling, Indoor Cycling, Elliptical Trainer, Rowing Machine, Cricket, Badminton, Pool Swimming, Yoga, Free Training.
The OnePlus Band comes with a 100mAh battery and supports up to 14 days of battery life. It can be charged through a wired OnePlus Band charging dongle and USB Type-A port. The fitness band can also display message notifications, incoming call notification (call rejection), music playback controls, stopwatch, timer, alarm, camera-shutter control, find my phone, Zen Mode synchronization (with select OnePlus phone models), weather forecast, OTA upgrades, and charge progress display, among other things.
Should you buy the OnePlus Band?
We recently reviewed the OnePlus Band and found that it offers some attractive features that include a responsive AMOLED display, a comfortable design, and good fitness tracking features. However, the Mi Band 5 is available at the same price and is arguably a more complete fitness tracker, which makes it a better bang-for-the-buck option. The OnePlus Band’s main problem is the poor battery life, which we believe may get fixed through future OTA updates.
