  • OnePlus has teased the price of its upcoming TWS earphones via Instagram
  • The earphones are confirmed to come with up to 30 hours of battery life, Warp Charging tech, and in-ear design

The much-anticipated OnePlus Buds is likely to be priced under Rs 7,500 if OnePlus’ latest teaser poster on Instagram is anything to go by. The vendor posted the teaser with a caption that reads “$XX.XX” globally, which means its price will be in double-figure, i.e. sub-$100 that roughly translates to around Rs 7,500 in the Indian currency. That OnePlus Buds price tag is well under the prices of Samsung Galaxy Buds+ and Apple AirPods, which are retailing at Rs 11,990 and Rs 14,900 respectively in India. OnePlus has already confirmed that the Buds will come with impressive battery life and Warp charging tech. The OnePlus Buds, to recall, is all set to launch in India on July 21st alongside OnePlus Nord.

In related news, the design and colour options of OnePlus Buds and its charging case were spotted by 9to5Google in the code for an APK from the latest OnePlus 8 update. As stated above that OnePlus Buds will be inspired by Apple AirPods, the images in the code reveal that’s indeed the case. The earphones seem to have an in-ear design with a long stem. The charging case is likely to look similar to Google Pixel Buds with an oval design. There seems to be a charging indicator on the front, a circular button on the back along with “Designed by OnePlus” branding.

The OnePlus Buds will come in three colour options: white, black, and teal, and an easy pairing option for OnePlus phone users. The earphones will come with up to 7 hours of battery life and can be recharged using the charging case that holds juice for another 22 hours, as revealed by OnePlus CEO Pete Lau in a forum post recently. Apart from this, the OnePlus Buds will come with Warp charging tech that’s said to deliver 10 hours of music playback in just 10 minutes. The buds would weigh 4.6 grams, while the charging case would be of 36 grams, Lau said.
