The OEM has confirmed that the new TWS earphones will be available for sale via the e-commerce platform Amazon.in. The Buds Pro 2R seems to be the watered-down version of the OnePlus Buds Pro 2, which has been priced in India at Rs 11,999. The OnePlus Buds Pro 2R features the same dual driver performance design as the Buds Pro 2, offering an 11mm dynamic driver and a 6mm planar diaphragm with it. The earbuds get 48dB active noise cancellation, along with Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity that enables low latency audio transmission. You get a Dynaudio-tuned audio signature as well, which will offer three custom-tuned audio modes as equaliser settings on the earbuds. The charging case only supports wired charging via USB-C in the earbuds, in comparison to the wireless charging support on the Buds Pro 2. The earbuds can last for nine hours of continuous playback, and 39 hours of total battery life, without ANC.
The key feature that is amiss on the OnePlus Buds Pro 2R, in comparison to Buds Pro 2, is the lack of head tracking and spatial audio support, which is reserved for the Buds Pro 2.
