The OnePlus Buds Z are expected to be more affordable than the original Buds and the company has confirmed IP55 rating for water and dust resistance. Tipster Ishan Agarwal now claims that the TWS earphones will sport 10mm drivers instead of 13.4mm and sound optimisation from Dirac Audio Tuner and Dolby Atmos. The earbuds will have 5 hours of battery life on a single charge, and additional 15 hours with a charging case. The OnePlus Buds, to recall, can last up to 30 hours on a single charge.
The OnePlus Buds Z case will support fast charging that’s rated to add 3 hours of playtime with 10 minutes of charge. Additionally, the earphones will have Bluetooth v5.0 connectivity and dual microphones. As for the design (confirmed by the company), the OnePlus Buds Z will sport a long stem and silicone ear tips for passive noise cancellation. Each earbud is confirmed to weigh 4.35 grams.
OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z Bass edition specifications
OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z Bass edition, as the name suggests, will be bass-heavy. The core features of the earphones such as drivers, magnetic control, and fast charging support will be similar to the regular Bullets Wireless Z. However, the upcoming Bass Edition earphones will come with a slightly downgraded battery life, Agarwal said. The OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z Bass edition will only last up to 17 hours between charge instead of 20 hours. The earphones will be equipped with 9.2mm drivers, Bluetooth v5.0, and fast charging support to add 10 hours of playtime with just 10 hours of charge.
