OnePlus has officially teased the launch of a new smartphone in India. The OnePlus N6 Lite will launch as the third phone in the brand’s budget N series. The announcement comes shortly after it was tipped that the N6 Lite would launch in India soon as the most affordable phone from OnePlus.

OnePlus has teased the N6 Lite launch through a dedicated microsite on Amazon. The teaser shows a glimpse of the phone, confirming a flat design like the OnePlus N6 and N6x. The OnePlus N6 Lite can also be seen in green, which could be one of the colour options. OnePlus teases the N6 Lite as “powerfully big”, but it hasn’t revealed any specifications yet.
The OnePlus N6 Lite is tipped to launch by the end of this month. It’s also said to launch as the most affordable phone by OnePlus yet. If accurate, it would be even more affordable than the OnePlus N6x, which currently occupies the entry point into OnePlus’ budget lineup, starting at Rs 20,999. While an even cheaper OnePlus phone sounds appealing, it remains to be seen what the N6 Lite will offer in terms of hardware.
OnePlus N6x offers a large 6.8-inch HD+ LCD 120Hz display, the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex SoC, and a 7,000mAh battery. It has a single 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. OnePlus N6 Lite could offer a similar set of specs, with the battery being its highlight.
