Yes, you read it right. OnePlus has teased the launch of a “limited-edition phone” with its teasers hinting towards a Pac-Man edition. Folks at XDA also have uncovered a special themed lockscreen in it’s APK teardown. We don’t have any specific details at the moment, but it has been rumored that the OnePlus Nord 2 Pac-Man limited edition variant’s specifications might be slightly different compared to the original Nord 2. The processor may be swapped with a Snapdragon 778G 5G instead of the Dimensity 1200-AI found in the OnePlus Nord 2.
To recall the OnePlus Nord 2 specifications, the phone features a 6.43-inch FHD+ Fluid AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset with upto 12GB RAM, 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage. The device packs a 4,500 mAh battery and it supports 65W fast charging. It’s camera duties are handled by a 50MP IMX766 sensor coupled with an 8MP ultrawide angle lens and a monochrome sensor. It’s also possible that the phone may debut with OxygenOS 12 out of the box. More details will be revealed on Monday.
