The source behind this seems to be a OnePlus launch event livestream link that was uploaded on YouTube by the brand. This, however, was for an event scheduled for May 19th in Europe. The company was quick to pull the video down, but it seems a Europe launch event is happening this month. As of now, it’s unclear whether the OnePlus launch event is happening in India on May 19th as well.

It seems OnePlus will be launching the OnePlus Nord 2T, Nord CE 2 Lite, and Nord Buds at its Europe launch event on May 19th. India could get the OnePlus Nord 2T on the same day. To recall, the brand already launched the Nord CE 2 Lite and Nord Buds in the country last month.

OnePlus is yet to officially confirm that the OnePlus Nord 2T is launching in India on May 19th, so you should take this leak with a pinch of salt. However, tipster Mukul Sharma says the Nord 2T will be arriving on the same day.

Based on what we know so far, the OnePlus Nord 2T will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset, 8GB RAM, and Android 12, based on its appearance on Geekbench. The smartphone was also listed on AliExpress recently where more key specs were revealed. The phone will apparently feature a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution.

The upcoming OnePlus phone could be equipped with a triple camera system that includes a 50MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP mono lens. The device should pack a 4,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.

OnePlus Nord 2T price is rumoured to be around $399, which comes to approximately Rs 30,000. We will have to wait for the official price announcement on May 19th to see whether the leaks were right.
