The upcoming OnePlus Nord will reportedly feature a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens, a 5MP macro sensor and a 2MP depth lens for portrait shots. The camera setup sounds similar to what some other affordable phones like the POCO M2 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro offer, but we expect OnePlus to use better sensors in accordance to the price segment. On the front, the phone will sport a 32MP main camera and an 8MP secondary sensor. OnePlus Nord is already confirmed to feature optical image stabilisation (OIS) for better, shake-free photos.
The recent teaser image revealed the complete back design of the OnePlus Nord with the vertically-arranged camera setup. This is the first time an OnePlus phone will have a dual-punch hole cutout on the front. The latest Snapdragon 765G SoC will be coupled with at least 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, that might not be expandable. The phone is said to house a 4,300mAh battery with 30W fast-charging support. OnePlus Nord will have a 6.5-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass layer. It is likely to run Android 10 OS with OxygenOS custom skin on top and feature an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.
