OnePlus Nord 5, Nord CE 5 complete specifications, and colours leaked ahead of launch

The OnePlus Nord 5 series is launching in India on July 8th as the brand’s new mid-range handsets. These two phones will succeed the OnePlus Nord 4 and Nord CE 4, respectively. The new models are expected to bring upgrades under the hood. OnePlus has also confirmed a design change for the Nord 5, which we got to see more of along with the complete specifications in a new leak by Android Headlines.

OnePlus Nord 5 specifications (leaked)

According to the leak, the OnePlus Nord 5 will feature a 6.83-inch FHD+ AMOLED display similar to the Nord 5. It will measure 163.41 x 77.04 x 8.1mm, and weigh 211g.
The smartphone is said to launch with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB storage.
OnePlus Nord 5 might launch with a 5,200mAh capacity battery with 80W charging support. Earlier leaks suggested a massive battery around 7,000mAh for the Nord 5.
It will reportedly house a 50MP primary camera and an 8MP secondary sensor at the back. For selfies, the Nord 5 could house a 50MP front camera.
OnePlus Nord 5 might continue with an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance like the Nord 4. This might be disappointing for buyers as phones in the similar price range (under Rs 30,000) offer up to IP69.

OnePlus Nord CE 5 specifications (leaked)

OnePlus Nord CE 5 will be an affordable alternative to the Nord 5. It’s expected to feature a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate like the Nord CE 4.
Unlike the Nord 5, this one could launch with a MediaTek chipset, more specifically the Dimensity 8350. It woul also be different from the Nord CE 4’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. It’s also tipped to offer 8GB of RAM with 128GB or 256GB of storage.
The smartphone is said to launch in Black Infinity and Marble Mist colours. OnePlus Nord CE 5 also has a design change and looks similar to the Nord 5 with vertically aligned cameras.

OnePlus Nord CE 5 might feature the same cameras as the Nord 5, which includes a 50MP primary and 8MP secondary lens. The selfie camera would be different though as the Nord CE 5 is said to feature a 16MP sensor.
The new Nord could pack a 5,200mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC charging support. The Nord CE 5 was also tipped to offer a 7,100mAh battery, which would be a major upgrade.
The IP rating is most likely staying the same with the Nord CE 5 too. It’s expected to come with an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.
OnePlus Nord CE 5 reportedly measures 63.58 x 76.02 x 8.27mm, and weighs 199g.
