OnePlus Nord will be launching in India on July 21st and the phone has been in the spotlight for the past couple of weeks. Noted YouTuber JerryRigEverything, who is quite popular for his smartphone teardowns and mobile phone skin-maker dbrand have teamed up with OnePlus for a transparent case for the OnePlus Nord. In a teaser image posted by the teardown expert, we see the OnePlus Nord battery capacity revealed clearly. The upcoming mid-range smartphone will seemingly house a 4,115mAh capacity, which is smaller than the battery inside the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro flagship phones. Separately, the phone is tipped to come with 30W fast-charging support as well.
OnePlus Nord specifications
OnePlus Nord specifications will include a Fluid AMOLED display with a high refresh rate. The smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset paired with 8GB/12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB/ 256GB storage that may not be further expandable. The phone runs Android 10 OS with Oxygen OS custom skin on top. Connectivity features include 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS and USB Type-C port for charging and data sync.
OnePlus Nord will have quad-camera setup at the back consisting of a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor with OIS+EIS, an 8MP 119-degree wide-angle sensor, a 5MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it has dual-punch hole setup to accommodate 32MP main sensor and an 8MP secondary ultra-wide-angle snapper for selfies and video calling. It is said to have an in-display fingerprint sensor and face unlock for security.
