Now, the company has officially revealed all the cameras that will be included on the back and the front. OnePlus also says that both the selfie cameras leverage on AI and long exposure technology and will allow one to click bright selfies with low noise in low light conditions.
The quad camera system on the OnePlus Nord will include a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor with f/1.75 aperture and OIS support, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle, a 5MP depth sensor, and a macro sensor for close-up shots, the company has revealed in a forum post. The company has also confirmed that the Nord will sport a 32MP main selfie camera accompanied by an ultra wide-angle lens with a 105-degree field of view.
OnePlus says that the Sony IMX586 was an easy choice as the company has been working with the sensor for a while now and has developed a range of software enhancements to make the most out of the camera. It is said to pack up to 12GB RAM and 128GB storage that may not be further expandable. It is likely to run on Android 10 OS with OxygenOS on top.
