OnePlus Nord will be launching in India next week on July 21st and a lot has been revealed about the phone already. The company has confirmed that the mid-range smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 765G SoC and will feature optical image stabilisation and a Fluid AMOLED display with a high refresh rate. In a new teaser video on Instagram, OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus Nord will feature a 105-degree wide-angle selfie camera. The phone will come with an elongated punch-hole cutout for dual selfie cameras that is reported to include a 32MP main sensor and an 8MP wide-angle lens.
OnePlus Nord specifications
Based on both confirmed and leaked OnePlus Nord specifications, the phone will have a 6.44-inch full HD+ Fluid AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 20:9 aspect ratio. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 765G SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB/256GB storage options. The handset is likely to run on Android 10 OS with OxygenOS skin on top. As for the optics, the OnePlus Nord will have a quad-camera setup arranged vertically. The setup includes a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor with OIS+EIS, an 8MP wide-angle lens with 119-degree field of view, a 5MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor.
The Nord is said to house a 4,115mAh battery and will support Warp Charge 30T fast charging. It will have an in-display fingerprint sensor and face unlock for security. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, MIMO, GPS and USB Type-C port for charging and data sync. OnePlus Nord is said to be equipped with Linear motor vibration, and Cine aspect ratio video. The handset will be available in Blue Marble, Gray Onyx, and Gray Ash colour options.
