The much-awaited OnePlus Nord will reportedly launch in India on July 21st, as per leaked posters. These images also suggest that the mid-range offering with 5G connectivity could be unveiled in the country via an AR launch event. Considering that this information is based on leaked posters which could be fake, please treat it with a grain of salt as we still have to wait for official confirmation from the company. The OnePlus Nord is confirmed to be priced under $500 that roughly translates to Rs 37,000 in the Indian currency. OnePlus has been teasing the specifications of OnePlus Nord over the past few days, and thanks to them, we already know its design, chipset, and other details. The OnePlus Nord will be the first smartphone from the brand to tout dual selfie cameras. The handset will be available for sale via Amazon.in and its pre-booking to start in India soon.
OnePlus Nord specifications
The OnePlus Nord is said to feature glass-sandwich design with an edge-to-edge screen that bears a pill-shaped cutout in the top left corner. The cutout will house dual selfie cameras that reportedly features 32MP primary sensor and 8MP secondary snapper. Around the back, the phone sports a vertical camera setup on the left corner. The handset is expected to come with a triple or a quad camera setup. Based on past reports, the primary camera could be a 64MP sensor.
The OnePlus Nord will have 5G Snapdragon 765G chipset at the helm, which is likely to be paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage onboard. It’s not confirmed yet but may tout 90Hz refresh rate AMOLED display. Additionally, it could pack a 4,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging support and in-display fingerprint scanner for security. The handset is expected to boot Android 10-based OxygenOS out of the box to take care of its software side of things. That’s all we know so far!
