The OnePlus Pad 2 Pro has been officially launched in China as a premium variant of the OnePlus Pad 2, which debuted in India last year. As the name suggests, it’s a more powerful and expensive addition to the Pad 2 lineup for those looking for a flagship-grade tablet for high performance needs, including video editing and multitasking. The tablet shares much of its hardware with the OPPO Pad 4 Pro, which is already available in China.
Powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (Elite) chipset, the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro is expected to deliver top-tier performance. One of its standout features is 5G communication sharing, which allows the tablet to automatically connect to a nearby phone’s 5G network for seamless internet access.

- Display: The OnePlus Pad 2 Pro sports a 13.2-inch 3.4K LCD display with 3392 x 2400 pixels resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 540Hz touch sampling rate, up to 900 nits HBM brightness and Dolby Vision.
- Processor: Powering the tablet is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset paired with Adreno GPU for graphics. This is a flagship mobile chipset and the most powerful till date.
- Memory: Up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage.
- OS: Android 15-based ColorOS 15 custom skin out of the box. If it launches outside China, then the tablet will run OxygenOS 15.

What’s new with OnePlus Pad 2 Pro?
The OnePlus Pad 2 Pro arrives as a costlier version to the standard OnePlus Pad 2, which debuted in India in July last year. The tablet gets a bigger 13.2-inch display compared to 12.1-inch screen on the OnePlus Pad 2. The Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset is faster and more capable compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC powering standard Pad 2. The battery is also bigger at 12,140mAh compared to 9,510mAh cell on the OnePlus Pad 2.
There are no details yet about the India availability of the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro. But considering the OnePlus Pad 2 launched here, we expect the Pro version to arrive as well.
