We recently exclusively detailed the OnePlus RT India launch plans, revealing the smartphone will be unveiled alongside the OnePlus Buds Z2 in the country in December. Post our exclusive, we also got to know that both these products by the brand were supposedly going to launch on December 16th. Today, we have another interesting finding for you, which further solidifies the rumours that the OnePlus RT is indeed launching in the country. We have spotted the OnePlus RT on the OnePlus Care app, which suggests the launch shouldn’t be too far off. Take a look.
OnePlus 9 (RT) listed on OnePlus Care app
As seen in the screenshots above (shared exclusively with us by tipster Mukul Sharma), the OnePlus RT (well, the OnePlus 9 RT) has already been listed on the official OnePlus Care app. The OnePlus 9 RT name, we believe, is likely a placeholder for now and may be updated soon to reflect the OnePlus RT moniker. Nevertheless, this is another strong indication that the smartphone is soon going to launch in India. Apart from the leaks we mentioned above, there was also a proof of sorts from Google Search results not too long ago.
OnePlus RT specifications
Coming to the specifications of the device, the OnePlus RT sports a 6.62-inch FHD+ OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a left-aligned single punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. Speaking of that, the smartphone’s punch-hole is home to a 16MP selfie snapper. At the back, the device has a triple rear camera setup – a 50MP primary lens, a 16MP wide-angle camera, and a 2MP macro lens.
Under the hood, the OnePlus RT is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. A 4,500mAh battery keeps the lights of the device on and can be charged with the help of 65W fast charging.
