Besides smartphones (both flagships and mid-range), OnePlus is also focussing on making it big with its smart TV lineup. The company last month unveiled the OnePlus TV Y1S and TV Y1S Edge, with an aim to carter to the offline and online markets. Now, 91mobiles has exclusively learned from an industry insider that OnePlus will soon launch a new OnePlus TV Y1S Pro in India. Unlike the previous models that are available in HD and FHD resolutions, the upcoming TV will have a 4K display, which means it will have a slightly higher price tag and should take on Xiaomi, Samsung, and LG TVs in the 4K smart TV segment. We have managed to get hold of a render and key specs of the upcoming OnePlus TV.
OnePlus TV Y1S Pro design revealed
OnePlus TV Y1S Pro is no different from the current OnePlus TVs available on the market. It has narrow bezels across the screen, barring a sizeable bezel below the screen to accommodate required sensors and the OnePlus logo. There will be two stand support to place the TV on a flat surface. The TV remote control has shortcut keys for Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar, Prime Video, Google Assistant, back, volume/channel up and down buttons, OnePlus logo, and a Home button.

Furthermore, Ishan has also shared some key specifications of the TV. It will come with 24W speakers with Dolby Audio and Dolby Atmos to external soundbar and speakers. Connectivity ports include 3 HDMI Ports, 2 USB ports, dual-band Wi-Fi, Miracast, and OnePlus Connect 2.0. The display will have a 4K panel with 3840×2160 pixels resolution.
The TV will run on Android TV 10 OS out of the box. Incidentally, the TV Y1S and Y1S Edge came with Android 11 OS out of the box. There is support for Google Assistant and Alexa voice assistants, Chromecast, and Micracast to cast content on the TV screen. The OnePlus TV Y1S Pro packs 2GB RAM and 8GB internal storage for apps.
