OPPO could soon release a 10,000mAh smartphone under its A-series

Highlights

At this point, it’s no surprise that OPPO continues to push boundaries with every generation, especially when it comes to battery life and camera performance. As a result, it appears that the brand is working on an A-series smartphone that could pack a massive 10,000mAh battery. According to the known tipster, Digital Chat Station (DCS), OPPO is currently testing a mid-range phone with a single-cell 9,700mAh battery, which could have a typical value of 10,000mAh.

Per DCS on Weibo, the 10,000mAh midrange phone, which OPPO has been working on behind the scenes, could feature a 1.5K flat display with LTPS technology. The tipster did not specify whether the panel will be AMOLED or IPS LCD, nor did they mention the expected refresh rate.

With a 10,000mAh battery on board, the phone could potentially last for days on a single charge with light to moderate use, as was the case on the Realme P4 Power with a 10,080mAh battery. During our use, the P4 Power achieved a highly respectable screen time of over 15 hours on a full charge, so it’s fair to assume that OPPO’s upcoming 10,000 A-series phone could offer similar battery endurance.
