“The OPPO A1k has been confirmed to have a 4,000mAh battery, 32GB internal storage, waterdrop notch, and single rear camera”
After launching the OPPO A5s, the next handset from the OPPO’s stable could be the A1k. A couple of days ago, we exclusively reported about the handset thanks to a poster that had the ‘coming soon’ tag and details about its battery and RAM. Now, 91mobiles has learned from retail sources that the OPPO A1k will arrive in India with a price tag of Rs 7,990. The entry-level smartphone will appeal to customers looking for a smartphone that does not cost a bomb and provides the full Android experience.
As reported previously, the OPPO A1k will ship with a waterdrop-style notch display and a single rear-facing camera. The rear camera will be backed by a dual-tone LED flash. The handset seems to have no fingerprint sensor whatsoever, but it’s likely to have a face unlock tech for authenticating the user. The device will get a whopping 4,000mAh battery and a respectable 32GB storage, which should be user expandable, onboard.
Moreover, the NBTC certification suggests that the A1K will pack a tall 6-inch display. The panel is likely to bear HD+ resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The device could be driven by MediaTek’s Helio P22 mobile platform and boot ColorOS 6.0 out of the box. It could measure 154.4 x 77.4 x 8.4mm and weigh 165 grams. Last but not least, the handset will be made available in at least two colour options: Black and Red.
The exact launch date of the OPPO A1K is not known at the moment, but we expect it to happen as early as next week.
