“According to the FCC certification, OPPO A31 will measure 164 x 75.5 X 173mm, sport a 6.5-inch display and run on ColorOS 6.1.2”
OPPO A31 budget phone with model number CPH2015 is reportedly in the works as the phone was spotted in the database of Singapore’s IMDA and an Indonesian certification platform back in December. The handset has now bagged the FCC certification in the US, where some images of the pre-production unit and key specifications have also been revealed. OPPO A31 is expected to come with a waterdrop notch display to accommodate the selfie camera. The volume rocker is placed on the left, while the power button is available on the right side. The 3.5mm audio jack, microUSB port and speaker grill are present on the bottom.
OPPO A31 FCC certification has also revealed a vertically arranged triple camera setup along with a tradition fingerprint sensor on back. It is tipped to measure 164×75.5x173mm, suggesting it may rock a display size of around 6.5-inches. It is likely to run on ColorOS 6.1.2 UI based on Android 9.0 Pie. OPPO A31 is said to ship with a 4,100mAh battery and 5V/2A charger. Not much else is known about the OPPO A31 beyond this, but we expect to learn more information in the coming few weeks.
Separately, OPPO is gearing up to launch the OPPO F15 smartphone in India later this month. It is expected to come with an AMOLED display, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and a design inspired from the Reno series. The OPPO F15 will sport a 48MP quad-camera setup at the back and fast-charging support as well.
