OPPO A3s 3GB RAM variant gets another price cut in India, now costs Rs 10,990

The OPPO A3s (review) smartphone price has been slashed again in India and this time it’s the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage model of the device. 91mobiles has learnt from offline retail sources that the handset’s cost has been slashed by Rs 1,000. This brings down the retail price for the OPPO A3s to Rs 10,990 from of its current MOP of Rs 11,990. It’s the second price cut for the variant, which was launched at a price of Rs 12,990 earlier this year.


Just a few days ago, OPPO slashed the price of the A3s’ 2GB RAM + 16GB storage variant. It is now available for Rs 8,490. Alongside it, the vendor also reduced the price of OPPO F9 and F9 Pro smartphones in the country. The handsets can now be purchased for a starting price of Rs 16,990 via both offline and online channels.

To recall the specifications of OPPO A3s, the handset is shipped with a 6.2-inch HD+ notch-toting display. At its core lies Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC, accompanied by up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB expandable storage. The dual-SIM phone boots on Android 8.1 Oreo-based ColorOS 5.1 out of the box and houses a 4,000mAh battery.

For photography, the phone relies on dual 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel sensors with LED flash on the rear. The front camera gets an 8-megapixel sensor with AI Beauty Technology 2.0 for selfies and video calling. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Apart from this, you get a ‘Music Party’ feature that enhances users music experience. There’s no fingerprint sensor on the device, but you can make use of face unlock to add a layer of security.
