The latest OPPO F-series smartphones, the OPPO F9 and F9 Pro, along with the OPPO A3s, have received a price cut in India. According to 91mobiles retail sources, the F9 will now sell for Rs 16,990, down from its previous price tag of Rs 18,990 that was revised in October. The OPPO F9 Pro, on the other hand, will reportedly set you back to Rs 21,990 for the base 64GB option and Rs 23,990 for 128GB storage variant with the price cut. The prices are down from the phone’s original price of Rs 23,990 and Rs 25,990, respectively.
To recall on the specifications of OPPO F9 and F9 Pro, they come with a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display with a waterdrop-style notch and are powered MediaTek Helio P60 SoC. While the SoC on F9 is mated with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage, the F9 Pro employs 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB ROM. A 3,500mAh battery with VOOC flash charging fuels both the devices.
For photography, the F9 Pro offers a combination of 16-megapixel + 2-megapixel sensors on the rear and a 25-megapixel snapper up front for selfies. The OPPO F9, on the other hand, flaunt the same set of sensors on the rear, but on the front, it employs a 16-megapixel shooter. Powering both the devices is Android Oreo-based ColorOS 5.1 out of the box.
As for the OPPO A3s, the budget offering’s 2GB RAM variant price has been further slashed by Rs 500. It’ll now retail for Rs 8,490 instead of Rs 8,990 after the revision earlier this month. The handset’s 3GB variant will continue to sell for the same Rs 11,990 price tag. For its price, the OPPO A3s offers a Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 450 processor, a 6.2-inch IPS display with HD+ resolution and a small notch at the top. The two 16GB and 32GB storage variants on offer are expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. Other features include a 4,230mAh battery, Android 8.1 Oreo-based ColorOS 5.1, dual 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel rear-facing cameras, and an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.
