OPPO A3s with dual-cameras and 4,230mAh battery launched in India for Rs 10,990

After several reports, OPPO has finally taken the curtains off its new A3s smartphone in India. As expected, the OPPO A3s with dual rear cameras and full view notch display has been priced in the country at Rs 10,990. However, comes with only one variant: 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage.

The OPPO A3s will go on sale in India on July 15 on e-commerce sites including Flipkart, Amazon and Paytm online, as well as major offline stores. Notably, the OPPO A3s will be available in Dark Purple and Red colour variants.

On the specifications front, the OPPO A3s sports a 6.2-inch display on the front with 88.8 precent scree-to-body aspect ratio and HD+ (720×1520 p) resolution. It is powered by 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 mobile chipset and packs a massive 4,230mAh battery.

The A3s is OPPO’s first smartphone that uses a dedicated sensor for depth-effect. The handset’s rear camera module features a combination of 13MP+2MP sensors backed by LED flash. For selfies and video calling, there is an 8MP shooter with OPPO’s AI Beauty Technology 2.0.

OPPO A3s runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box, garnished with the custom ColorOS 5.1 skin on top. Other features included on the handset are ‘Music Party’ feature that lets users enhance their music experience and connectivity options like 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
