OPPO launched the OPPO A7 in several countries including Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal and China just yesterday. The smartphone flaunts big 4,230mAh battery and dual rear cameras as its highlights. While there is still no word on the Indian launch of the smartphone, the brand has silently listed the phone on its website, hinting that the launch date is closer than we anticipated.
OPPO A7 price in India, launch details
While the smartphone has been listed on the official website of the brand, OPPO has not yet revealed the price. The OPPO A7 retails for RMB 1599, which translates to Rs 16,540 approximately. We can safely assume that the handset will be positioned in the range of Rs 15,000 in India. According to the speculations, we can expect the smartphone to be launched by this month’s end.

The OPPO A7 comes with a 6.2-inch display with a small waterdrop notch, HD+ resolution and 88.3 percent screen-to-body ratio. At its core, the smartphone gets the octa-core Snapdragon 450 SoC with Adreno 506 GPU. The chipset is also backed by Hyper Boost mode for improved gaming performance. The handset comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage, which can be expanded further. The smartphone boots the ColorOS 5.2 custom software based on Android 8.1 Oreo and offered a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.
In the imaging department, the OPPO A7 comes with a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera setup on the back and a 16-megapixel elfie camera with AI integration and beautification software. The smartphone is being powered by a 4,230mAh battery. On the connectivity front, it offers Wi-Fi, WiFi-Direct, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.2 with LE, and micro-USB 2.0.
