OPPO A92 smartphone has been launched as a new member in the OPPO A series. The design is similar to the recently launched OPPO A52 and OPPO A72 in that it comes with a corner punch-hole cutout, a quad camera setup in a rectangular module and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. OPPO A92 key specifications include a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support, the Snapdragon 655 processor, and a 6.5-inch display. It has a similar camera setup as the OPPO A52 with a 48MP primary sensor. In fact, the OPPO A92 seems to be a rebranded OPPO A72 for the Malaysian market.
OPPO A92 price
OPPO A92 price in Malaysia is MYR 1199 (approx Rs 21,230) for the variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The smartphone will come in Twilight Black, Aurora Purple, Stream White colours. It is available for pre-order now on OPPO’s Malaysia eStore, but the company hasn’t revealed details global availability just yet.
OPPO A92 specifications
The OPPO A92 sports a 6.5-inch full HD+ LCD display with 2,400 X 1,080 pixels resolution and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC coupled with Adreno 610 GPU, 8GB RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage that is further expandable using a microSD card. The handset boots Android 10 OS with ColorOS 7.1.1 custom skin on top. It measures 162x 75.5 x 8.9 mm and weighs 192 grams.
As for the optics, the OPPO A92 packs a quad-camera setup with 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide-angle sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth unit for portrait shots. On the front, there is a 16MP snapper in the punch-hole for selfies and video chats. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. The handset houses a 5,000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou, and a USB Type-C port.
