OPPO A93 5G has been launched in China after a leak earlier this week that revealed all the key specifications and features of the phone. The highlight of the smartphone is the Snapdragon 480 SoC inside, which is Qualcomm’s new budget 5G chipset. At the launch event for the Snapdragon 480, Qualcomm had revealed that brands like Vivo, OPPO, and Xiaomi will soon launch Snapdragon 480-powered phones. OPPO A93 5G price
OPPO budget 5G handset is available in two variants in China. The OPPO A93 5G price is CNY 1,999 (around Rs 22,600) for the top-end model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The price of the other variant, with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, has not been revealed yet. There are three colour variants on offer: Aurora, Elegant Silver, and Dazzle Black.

The OPPO A93 5G features a 6.5-inch FHD+ LTPS LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate, pixel density of 405ppi, and 20:9 aspect ratio. The screen also supports the DCI-P3 colour gamut. As mentioned earlier, the smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 480 SoC, which is aimed at bringing 5G capabilities to affordable smartphones. Also on board is 8GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage, which is expandable via a microSD card.

On the imaging front, the OPPO A93 5G has a triple camera setup at the back comprising of a 48MP primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.7, a 2MP portrait lens, and a 2MP macro camera. The smartphone has an 8MP selfie camera enclosed in a punch-hole cutout at the front. Other features include a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, face unlocking capabilities, a 3.5mm audio jack, and dual SIM support.
