- The Android 12 based ColorsOS 12 beta update will also roll out to OPPO A74 5G from December 28th.
OPPO today revealed the rollout plan for its ColorOS 12 beta update, the latest version of its Android 12-based operating system, for December 2021 in India. The open beta or public beta builds can be accessed by a total of 7 OPPO phones in India, starting from December 10th. According to the company, the smartphones, which includes models from the Find, Reno, F, and A-series, will allow more OPPO users to experience ColorOS’ highly customizable UI and features that comprise much-awaited UI Customizations such as Three-Finger Translation, FlexDrop, Private System and other enhanced security features as well.

As per the timeline provided by OPPO, the OPPO Reno 5 Pro 5G and OPPO F19 Pro+ will start to receive the ColorOS 12 beta update from December 10th in India. Similarly, OPPO A74 5G will start to receive the same update from December 28th in India.
As for the stable update, the ColorOS 12 stable update based on Android 12 will start to roll out from December 20th for OPPO Find X2. Similarly, OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G Diwali Edition and OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G will start to receive the update from December 22nd in India. OPPO Reno 6 5G will start to receive the update from December 28th in India.
The update will be released in batches, so many users may have to wait for some more days before their devices will get the taste of ColorOS 12 beta and stable updates. The stable update for all of the devices, which are currently mentioned under beta rollout should also follow soon as well.
