Since this is the first time OPPO CPH2123 is making headline, there is no word on its official name, camera details, chipset, design, screen size, and other specifications yet. Now that the handset has been certified, we may expect its launch soon.
Separately, OPPO is also working on a new A-series offering called OPPO A72 5G. The handset was recently spotted on Geekbench v5.1.0 with model number PDYM20 and key specifications such as MediaTek MT6853 SoC, which is speculated to be a codename of the recently announced MediaTek Dimensity 720 chipset, 8GB RAM and Android 10 OS. The OPPO A72 5G has managed to score 513 points and 1,659 points in single-core and multi-core benchmarking tests, respectively.
Apart from this, the OPPO A72 5G is tipped to sport a 6.5-inch punch-hole display with 90Hz refresh rate, up to 128GB storage options, 16MP triple rear cameras, and an 8MP selfie camera. The handset could be driven by a 3945mAh/4,040mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
