- OPPO Enco Air TWS earbuds have been spotted on the NCC certification website.
- Each earbud will come with a 25mAh battery and the case charges at 10W.
- OPPO Enco Air will be launched in China on May 6th alongside a fitness tracker.
OPPO has launched a lot of TWS earbuds in the past year under the Enco umbrella. Just yesterday, we saw the OPPO Enco Buds being launched in Thailand. Details about its global launch remain unknown at this point. In the meanwhile, OPPO is all set to launch yet another pair of TWS earbuds in China, called the OPPO Enco Air. It is slated to be launched on May 6th, according to a listing on JD.com. In the meanwhile, we stumbled upon some key OPPO Enco Air specifications on the NCC certification website. We also found some OPPO Enco Air live images at the same place.
While the OPPO Enco Air NCC certification images might not reveal a whole lot about the TWS earbuds, we know that each earbud will pack a 25mAh battery and the charging case will support 10W fast charging. The renders below show us that OPPO is still sticking with its Airpods-like aesthetic, complete with its charging case, which can be charged via a USB Type-C port. Nothing else stands out about it in particular, other than the prominent OPPO branding on the case.
Little more is known about the OPPO Enco Air at this point. Given its naming, we’re probably looking at a pair of affordable earbuds. Therefore, the likelihood of it shipping with premium features such as ANC (active noise cancellation) is low. However, we could see some other less-than-premium features like a low-latency mode for gaming, IP54 dust and water resistance, bass-centric optimizations, and support for some, if not all, wireless audio protocols. Bluetooth 5.2 functionality is tipped, too.
