“The video teaser is yet to appear on official OPPO channels but does confirm the F11 Pro’s pop-up selfie camera”
OPPO has teased the upcoming F11 Pro smartphone via a short official sneak peek video a couple of days back. Now, a new video teaser has been leaked online today, which is yet to be posted by OPPO but looks very much official, throws light on the smartphone from all angles. The official video teaser leaves almost nothing to the imagination as far as design is concerned. The teaser comes after a leak that we reported yesterday showed the full rear panel of the mid-tier smartphone. Despite all this, there’s still no official launch date for the smartphone.
First off, the teaser confirms the pop-up camera design which was earlier in the rumours. It also confirms the two Thunder Black and Aurora Green colours of the handset and also reaffirms the rear fingerprint reader. Oddly enough, this is a strange move as OPPO’s lower-priced handsets like the OPPO K1 come with an on-screen fingerprint reader. The OPPO F11 Pro has a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack thankfully depicts the teaser.
As far as specifications are concerned, some things are still pretty uncertain. For one, we don’t know what processor will be used but rumours point to a high-end MediaTek chip powering the mid-ranger. The 48MP rear camera is confirmed while the front pop-up module is thought to be housing a 32MP selfie shooter.
The OPPO F11 Pro is also expected to be the India version of the upcoming OPPO R series phone which usually retails in China, but as of late, has also debuted in India making things a bit confusing. The OPPO F9 Pro came with VOOC charge and it is believed that OPPO will continue the same fast charging tech in its successor. Rumours suggest the F11 Pro will be priced below Rs 25,000 and will compete with Vivo’s V15 that will launch on February 20 with a triple rear camera and a pop-up selfie shooter.
