OPPO F15 smartphone has officially been launched in India. The handset is the latest F-series offering from the brand, replacing last year’s OPPO F11. The all-new OPPO F15 touts a sleek design with an ultrathin and lightweight body, 48MP quad rear camera setup, a FHD+ AMOLED dewdrop display, and VOOC Flash Charge 3.0, which is rated to be 26 percent faster than its predecessor Flash Charge 2.0. The phone is powered by a mid-range MediaTek chipset, which is paired with 8GB of RAM and Game Boost 2.0 to further enhance its performance. The OPPO F15 sports an in-display fingerprint scanner and triple card slot, among other things.
OPPO F15 price in India and availability
The OPPO F15 price in India is set at Rs 19,990 and comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. The smartphone comes in Unicorn White and Lightning Black colour options. It is up for pre-booking starting today, January 15th unit January 23rd. OPPO F15 first sale is on January 24th to January 26th via Amazon, Flipkart and offline stores across India. OPPO is also offering a ‘One Time Screen Replacement’ and ‘Zero Down Payment’ on pre-booking the OPPO F15 as well as 5 percent cashback on HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and Yes Bank cards.

OPPO F15 sports a 6.3-inch FHD+ (1,080 x 2,400) AMOLED display with 90.7 percent screen ratio, waterdrop notch and Widevine L1 support. The display also features an in-display fingerprint scanner 3.0, which OPPO claims can unlock the device in 0.32 seconds. OPPO F15 is powered by a MediaTek Helio P70 chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage expandable up to 256GB via a dedicated microSD card slot. The F15 also comes with gaming optimisation features such as Game Mode 2.0, gaming voice changer, and in-game noise cancellation effect to better detect and hear noises while gaming.
OPPO F15 specifications also include a quad-camera setup with 48MP (f/1.79) primary sensor, 8MP (f/2.25) wide-angle macro lens, 2MP (f/2.4) mono lens, and 2MP (f/2.4) portrait sensor. The cameras are backed by features such as 119-degree field-of-view, 3-8cm macro with autofocus, 10x digital zoom, EIS stabilisation, night mode, and bokeh mode. As for the front camera, the phone ships with 16MP (f/2.0) shooter for selfies and video chats.
Software-wise, the OPPO F15 Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6.1.7 instead of the latest Android 10-based ColorOS 7 out of the box. The phone is driven by 4,000mAh battery with 20W VOOC flash charging 3.0 support that is rated to add 50 percent juice in less than 30 minutes.
