Both handsets will be making their global debut in the country. As the successor to last year’s OPPO F17 series, the smartphones are expected to come with several improvements under the hood. OPPO F19 Pro series India launch

OPPO F19 Pro series India launch is scheduled for March 8th. The company will only be introducing the Pro models, namely OPPO F19 Pro and OPPO F19 Pro+, during the launch event. The regular OPPO F19 could make its debut later in the year. Both OPPO F19 Pro and OPPO F19 Pro+ will be available for sale via Amazon.in, Flipkart, and other leading retail outlets across the country.

OPPO F19 Pro price in India is tipped to start at around Rs 20,000, while the OPPO F19 Pro+ could cost around Rs 25,000 based on the OPPO F17 series prices. Both phones may come in three colour options: White, Black, and Purple.

OPPO F19 Pro and OPPO F19 Pro+ design are said to be the same, as per leaked images. They both are rumoured to sport a punch-hole display at the front and a glossy finish on the rear panel. There will be an in-display fingerprint scanner for security. Both models will have a rectangular camera module at the back with quad-cameras in an L-shape arrangement. However, the OPPO F19 Pro will have AI etched in the module with LED flash placed on the side, whereas the OPPO F19 Pro+ may sport LED flash within the camera module with ‘5G’ text. The USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, speaker grille, and microphone will be at the bottom. As for the spines, the OPPO F19 Pro series may employ a power button on the right and a volume rocker along with a SIM tray on the left.

Talking about the OPPO F19 Pro+ specifications, it will allegedly sport a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a punch-hole cutout in the top-left corner for the selfie camera. The phone is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U 5G chipset coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. The storage should be further expandable via a microSD card. Software-wise, the phone is likely to boot the latest ColorOS 11.1 with Android 11 out of the box.

In the camera department, the OPPO F19 Pro+’s quad-camera setup may include a 48MP primary sensor. It’ll be accompanied by an 8MP wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro mono lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. At the front, the handset will reportedly employ a 16MP snapper for selfies and video chats. The smartphone may pack a 4,310mAh battery with 50W VOOC flash charging support.

The OPPO F19 Pro specs are said to be pretty much the same as the OPPO F19 Pro+ but with some minor changes. The handset could also ship with Android 11-based ColorOS 11.1, 6.5-inch FHD+ display, 5,000mAh battery, 48MP quad cameras, and 16MP selfie shooter. However, the OPPO F19 Pro is likely to employ slightly downgraded 4G MediaTek Helio P95 SoC, under the hood, and 30W fast charging support instead of 50W.
